Chiranjeevi is the undisputed King of Telugu cinema with a long and remarkable journey. He completed 47 years in films, marking his debut with Pranam Khareedu which released on September 22, 1978.
On this special day he shared a lovely note along with the poster of his first film. Over his career Chiru has given many hits and blockbusters mainly in Tollywood though he has also acted in other languages.
He thanked his well wishers for their support throughout his journey. So far he has acted in 155 films and is one of the highest-paid actors in India.
Currently he is busy with multiple projects. He is shooting for Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu directed by Anil Ravipudi, scheduled for Sankranthi 2026, and Vishwambara, set for summer 2026.
He will also collaborate soon with directors Bobby Kolli and Srikanth Odela in upcoming films.
