The Sankranti 2024 film race is gaining intense momentum, with Rajinikanth’s cameo appearance in “Lal Salaam” adding significant excitement to the competition. This year, Sankranthi 2023 saw four major releases, with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Waltair Veerayya” and Balakrishna’s “Veera Simha Reddy” dominating the Telugu states. In Tamil Nadu, Ajith’s “Thunivu” and Vijay’s “Vaarisu” set the box office ablaze.
However, Sankranti 2024 promises to be even more thrilling, with a total of eight films vying for the best theaters and showtimes. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s “Guntur Kaaram,” Ravi Teja’s “Eagle,” Nagarjuna’s “Naa Saami Ranga,” Teja Sajja’s “Hanuman,” and Vijay Deverakonda’s “Family Star” have already locked in their release dates.
Additionally, Venkatesh’s “Saindhav” is expected to make an official announcement soon. Apart from “Lal Salaam,” Sivakarthikeyan’s “Ayalaan” has also been confirmed for a Sankranti 2024 release.
