The years 2020 and 2021 have mostly been devastating for the entire world, with lots of people losing their lives to the Coronavirus pandemic, and lots more suffering from it. The second wave that took over India last month, turned out to be a lot more devastating than the first one, but the country is once again healing, slowly but definitely.
On the other hand, the years 2020 and 2021 have turned out to be a season for private weddings for celebrities, and many of them, especially in Tollywood. It all started with Rana Daggubati getting married to Miheeka Bajaj, followed by Nithiin getting married to Shalini, then Nikhil getting married to Pallavi, director Sujeeth getting married to Pravallika, Kajal Aggarwal getting married to Gautam Kitchlu. If not during the lockdown, then these weddings took place with only a few members as guests, due to social distancing norms. A lot more weddings happened on the whole, with a lot of Bollywood actors getting married in 2020 as well.
Most recently, actress Pranitha Subhash tied the knot with businessman Nitin Raju in a private ceremony, and just yesterday, actress Yami Gautam tied the knot with director Aditya Dhar in a private ceremony. All in all, the years 2020 and 2021 have turned out to be the season of private weddings on the whole.
