Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameswaran starrer 18 Pages under the direction of Palnati Surya Pratap had a theatrical release on December 23rd in competition with Ravi Teja’s Dhamaka. Opened to decent reports from the targetted youth audience, 18 Pages had an average first weekend at the ticket windows. As per the trade reports, the pre-release business for 18 Pages is done for Rs 12.59 crore and the film should collect Rs 13 crore share to achieve break-even status. By the end of first weekend, the film collected Rs 4.7 crore share. Though the film has generated average revenues during first weekend, utilizing the upcoming New Year weekend, if 18 Pages maintains the same momentum, it has chances to emerge as a decent hit at the box office hit.
