Fifteen years back on the same day, Superstar Rajinikanth and director Shankar’s social drama, Sivaji had hit the screens and went on to become the top grosser among South Indian films for the year 2007. The film even marks the first collaboration of Rajinikanth and Shankar.
Celebrating the occasion, Shankar met Rajinikanth at his residence this morning. “Elated to have met our Sivaji the Boss @rajinikanth sir himself on this very memorable day marking #15yearsofSivaji Your Energy, Affection and Positive Aura made my day!”, tweeted Shankar. The ace director also shared a picture with Rajinikanth.
After Sivaji, Shankar and Rajinikanth collaborated for two more films Robo and Robo 2. Meanwhile, soon after Shankar met Rajinikanth, speculations started circulating that the duo are gearing up to join forces yet again soon. Will the magical combination repeats in the future? Remains to be seen.
